Kissing, Hugging and feeling different from to person as you would do a friend.

But can a relationship exist without the physical interaction? Without the hugging and kissing? Can someone not want any of that but still have a stable relationship?

Thats the pretty much point to my thread.. iom trying to figure that out and the more opinons the better.

Of course, it doesn't have to include physical expression. They are generally seen as going hand in hand though.

I said 3 different things the 3rd doesn't involve physical interaction at all.

you used the word "and", implying all 3 were needed..

relationships can exist without physical interaction.
however, the lack of physical interaction can also
eventually kill the relationship.

i also think it's easier to have relationships without
the hugging and kissing nowadays because of the internet
and mobile phones.

if you aren't getting any, the relationship is one sided and usually means one thing...you are fooling yourself, the other person doesn't consider it a "relationship" and you are stuck in the friend zone!!!

depends on what kind of relationship. i can bang a chick and not be in a relationship with her. those are preferred IMHO. dealing with all that emotional drama can be a pain in the ass most of the time. I guess it's just cuz I don't like most of the girls I hook up with tho. lmfao

tedtwilliger wrote:Now this is a question that has been puzzeling me for a long time now. I wont go exactly into details, but i have started to try and question what makes a relationship different from a very close friendship and whether or not what i feel towards someone is something more than friends or not.

So simply put, what makes a relationship in your eyes? The physical expression of "love"? Just the emotional feelings? A combination of both? Something else?

Opinions would be welcomed

how old are you? why the hell are you looking for a relationship anyway? you should be out there putting forth every ounce of your effort towards losing your VIRGINITY!

let me tell you a little story.

one afternoon many many (4) years ago in the magical land of south beach, i was awakened from a drug induced coma by a strange noise in my living room. i somewhat remembered my condo being empty when i fell unconcsious around sunrise. confused and delerious, i reached for my closest gun, which happened to be 2 glocks hanging from my headboard. i krept from my room expecting to find some bitches trying to rob me (and wondering how they got past my buildings 2 security checkpoints). as i mustered enough courage to spin around the corner into my living room i found my bitch ass cousin banging a hooker on my very expensive couch. he almost got shot just for that. i was pretty skeeved so i went back to my room to try and fall asleep again, but it was hard knowing there was a prostitute getting railed on my couch. i let him finish since apparently he paid mucho dinero for this bitch, then i did another line, walked outside and punched him in the head. when i asked him what the **** he was doing he responded (and this is the moral to my random tangent) "you pay for it one way or another. it would have cost me the same amount to take some skank out for dinner and to a movie and the club and the whole nine, and after all that, i might not even get a kiss. instead, i give this bitch a couple hundred bucks, i **** the shit out of her and i kick her ass out the door. we both get what we want, and we both leave happy."

even though i have never paid for sex...it made alot of sense to me

Thats exactly what i thought as well. Ultimatly its what ended up being the case really.. Ironically though i was the person who didn't consider it a relationship

Im 18 and i dont want to loose my virginity. Im proud to be a virgin, unlike most 18 year old guys i dont want sex. To be honest i dont like lust or physical interaction in general, this is where the relationship problems were created. Everyone craps on about how they want a root or what not else, but i none of that is for me.

i understand what you mean, i had a cousin pretty much with the same "issue". One day he asked me about it and i really didnt know what to say, so i just told him that in one point, you're gonna need/want some physical interaction with your partner, which later it becomes a need more than anything else; like something to complete your relationship.

I dont know if someone wouldnt want the physical interaction in a relationship. To me i find it NECCESARY, it's a romantic feeling and really cute and sexy of course to have this kind of physical interactions with my partner (dont have one atm), like giving a kiss to your bf, hold him, etc.

A relationship to me, is trust, communication, and respect, some physical interaction, you dont have to go all the way..

A lot of what agent said made sense too, I agree..
