America just isn't suited for scooters like that. The only time you see anybody riding a scooter around is if they live near the coast or their town is reeeeeeally low on traffic. Besides, most people would rather just have a full fledged motorcycle.

geography is different than europe, our cities are bigger and our traffic is different.

Now that some one mentioned it, barely ever seen any scooters in America on tv or where ever.

Im telling you, there is a scooter parked crossways between EVERY SINGLE car on the street.

Its mad, there are more scooters then cars for sure. There are parking places all over rome with over 200 scooters on them lol. The cars cant even move because of them if their parked next to the street. hahah.

theres tough traffic in bigger cities and the problem with that (and motorcycles) is that one bump and you go flying

That's ugly, I like the two wheel motor scooters/motorcycles.
Scooters are better though, less expensive :]

I used to loler whenever i'd see one, but then when I went to Europe I realized how great they are. I've seen maybe one in my life in the city I live in, but where my family lives further up North, it's more country-ish, and almost all the teens have one.
