About 4 years ago we were playing Age of Empires 2 online. Hardly 5 or so minutes into the game that it started lagging to sh1t and he dropped out. He wasn't on AIM or anything, didn't hear from him in weeks. Eventually he got on AIM one day saying he was at his uncle's house or some sh1t. His computer fried while we were playing AOE.
Last night in walmart we saw AOE1+2 for 10 dollars so we said what the fck and got that sh1t. When we got back we tried playing that sh1t. 15 mins into the game it lags and he drops out. He's offline on msn/aim so I figure his internet died. He's not coming back on so I think fck it and I go to bed. Talk to him today and he said that while playing his computer just shut off just like that with no damn warning. He tried turning it back on and nothing at all was happening.
Pretty fck1ng crazy assed sh1t, son.

But the thing is his computer only really "farked up" twice (and he uses it a lot) only when playing age of empires 2.

OnT: Reading this made me want to bring my dusty AoE2 and Conquerors CDs, as well as Rise of Nations and TaP.
I think those are the only RTS games i've liked so far (i love historical-oriented games), and haven't found any other that motivates me to play it until the end.

Aoe2 is prolly the most played rts on the whole planet. that was the shit back in the days.
IMO you can't really compare aoe2 to any of the newer rts's, but i really recommend lord of the rings battle for middle earth rts. its so good.

First one sucks. Second is better in many ways, you start with a small fortress instead of a huge one. Its way better.
But the expansion of 2, Rise of the Witch King. Thats the one u want
