My lovely grandmother died tonight

Both her kidneys was one tumour, she had 3 tumours in her head and one tumour in the liver Last week she had one tumour in her head, kidney and liver. Damn, what everything can happen so fast.
The hostipal called yesterday and said that they wanted that all the family should come visit her today cuz they only thought she should live untill monday. But they called us 04.00 tonight and said it wasnt good so we just jumped in the car and was on the way. But they called my moms brother and said. Shes gone.

It's always sad to see a loved one go. A similar thing happened to me, we were called to say my grand mother really wasn't well, so we jumped in the car, but before we got there, she passed away. I just took the view that she was no longer in pain, and was in a much better place. Try not to sit around thinking about, but instead think about the good times with her.

I consider myself lucky to still have my grandparents on both side, last person i lost was my grand-aunt(?) she was really close the family

i'm sorry to hear about your loss. i know how it is to lose a grandparent who you loved very much. my grandfather died when i was 8, never got too much time with him but whenever i did, it was amazing and i miss everything that we did. we had so much fun and love.. you can be strong, shes in a nice place now, safer then the earth. she's being taken care of, and she still watching over you. always keep her in your heart, she'll have you in hers. Similar story: My uncle got cancer on the last stage, my family visited him on a Saturday, we stayed until really late, but its finally time to go home, then I was hoping to see him again the next day, sigh, he died on Sunday Morning Well, he is in a better place now
