The International Java Jazz Festival,

A really big Annual event held here in Jakarta every March. Having local and International performers. Lots of fun, it lasts 3 days, and is always a great go.

Each year, apart from the usual line up of day artists, we have a couple of special shows, with like important artists.

2006 The most memorable was James Brown
- What a performer, all they said about him was right, I'm actually really glad i got to see him live before his passing.
2007 The most memorable was Jamie Cullum
- Also a great performer, really gets the crowd going, and his voice is awesome for such a little guy, his act with the piano amazing, and helped me out with my GF at the time
2008 This year, we have a couple of special shows, but not top top performers, some of the good names are The Manhattan Transfer and Babyface
- Hopefully they will be good

We have a lot of other performers coming, one which im kinda curious about. Rene Olstead.

You guys might remember her from Still Standing. A show on tv, but apparently she turned into a big Jazz singer now.

Well, i know that a lot of you guys here are Jazz lovers, me kinda included. So i wanted to ask you which ones were the "not to be missed" for me, because im not that big of an entrepreneur of Jazz.

This is the Three Day Schedule
This is the International Artist List

So which ones are best?
