honestly its being paid for by the state or city which means thats tax money. you probobly conribute less than 50 cents to the project in tax money. and it is totaly worth that because being disabled fuccking sucks, i am not disabled but i cant imagine not being able to go places i need or want to go because there are some stairs in the way, so yea it is worth it completly 100% and if your too greedy to want to contribute less then 50 cents to make somone's unbearibly hard life slightly easier, then your a heartless assshole. plain and simple.
sorry if im coming off as harsh but its no where near as harsh as life is when you cant use your legs.

no. qosta420 he's not against the idea of installing it but it's the ridiculously high cost. 1 million!? for a simple 10 ft ramp. come on seriously. Read the article, it said that they could have installed something else for 98k but went for the 1 mil idea. seriously stupid on their part imo.

100,000 dollars a foot. its going to cost 1 million dollars. thats 10ft.

Think you mis-read. It cost them 98,000 to get the 18 ideas they had originally. So before they even started building it had cost them that amount, then from those 18 ideas, they chose one that cost 1,100,000$ or however much it was.
I can understand it has to looks nice, and I'm sure it will, and I can understand not wanting to go for the 'cheapest' option, but 1,100,000 has to be somewhere near the most expensive?
