Kinda scary i didnt think we could get earthquakes here...was anyone woken by this?

Lol yeah, was talking to a m8 on Xfire last night and hes like.. WTF M8 ground just shook. Didn't believe him till I saw it on the news.

i did not feel the quake but was in mid talk with someone as it happened where they was and they said their house shook like a car had hit it or something their net crashed twice and they live in doncaster

LOL yeah I didn't really realise it was a earthquake until I saw the news. But while I was trying to sleep I kept hearing noises like someone was walking, was like wtf someone broke into my house.
And yeah this was the first earthquake which has happened in about 25 years so most of us have never experienced this before and it hit 5.2 on the ricter scale.

I get to rub this in my Geography Teacher's face hahahaha.
He has always wanted to feel an Earth Quake, but has never, and he missed all the big ones here. So he always gets like annoyed when we talk about Earth Quakes XD!

Would of been a weird experience to feel it..
A few years ago I had a tornado go down my road, and I missed that as well coz I was at work.

didnt feel anything down in somerset, i was still up at when it happened and didnt know it had happened until the news this morning. Well, i think further up north in somerset they probably got a few shakes though since it was felt as far as wales.

When I read my local paper at work there had been one in my town centre, but it totally missed me as I am about 10 miles from the town..

0.o Earthquake there, pretty rare though since its like hecker far away from the Pacific Rim, anywayz San Francisco is gonna get caboodled with 1 huge one later on.(I shall make preperations for my safety
