well first of all i dont want any flames here, so better leave if you find it offensive, disturbing, and/or stupid.
second I'm not bored when i post this stuff... i just want to share what part of my family do in laundry day(Sunday).My Father cant afford to buy an expensive dryer... soo well He used an alternative way

-====================================================================-
pic. taken at front at Neighbors Gate:

-====================================================================-
Close up to dresses, yup i'm on top of the roof

-====================================================================-
More pics.

-====================================================================-
More Laudry

-====================================================================-
The Location where i took the pic. on the roof.(scroll up)

well my point is that not only it is time saving, its also efficient, And cost less effort, climbing on ladders FTW!
Well i may not advice you to practice this in you Home, cause its too dangerous.

... my father immidiately goes to the roof, me waiting on the bottom. then hands the laundry to me... then i go in front of the house and slowly but surely put each laundry on here:
when it is totally raining at sunday...the same location. heres the use of the orange tubes:

aint no shame in that. you do what you gotta do. its quite macguyver...ish! growing up, my mom strung the laundry between the buildings (i grew up in the projects in the south bronx (low income apt. buildings in the ghetto for those not from the us)). is that shit hung on the power lines? that is gangsta!!!!
where i come from kids have a tradition too. when we would outgrow our sneakers, we would tie them together and wrap them aroung the power lines!!!!

Rakion, i think thats a cool way to do your clothes. when i was young and living in croatia i think thats how we used to do it. seems like fun and i love fun in the sun xD. saves a lot of money and energy. and you handwashed them all? wow i bet your hands were tiredddd.

In Canada it's common practice to hang clothes on a clothes line outside in the summer to let it dry - saves electricity and the clothes smell like summer.

Erm.... here in my country everyone does that and most people do have a dryer but it's only used for when it's raining nonstop for days.
It's really normal and hell, it's such a waste of energy, only in north america -_-. You have the freaking sun and wind yet you rather waste more and more energy.
