We'd all die, massive shockwaves, the earth would probably be knocked off its orbit also.

But I'm no scientist. But, big object(mass wise)+big speed = BAD.

Imagine a meteor comepletely obliterated our moon?

What difference does it make if were important or not? If you want to cut yourself and say that, go ahead :]. I think humans are important in MY life, and I probably couldn't live without them (except a few..)

Anyways, wouldn't you rather die of old age? More people would think of you, than everyone dieing of one thing. And dieing of a meteor doesn't sound important lolz

I honestly don't care if a meteor hit in the next 10 min or the next 10 years. seriously I don't waste my mental energies in thinking about what will happen because the chance of a meteor hitting the earth during my life is about the same chance as me shaking hands with abraham lincoln: zero.

And a big meteor would cause massive floodings, earthquakes, storms, climate change, so much dust that it would block out sunlight and (nearly) all animal and plant life would die out.

actually we wouldn't about any meteor until the astronomers tell us. And if we do see one flaming in the sky, by then its too late. So who cares? not me.

that thing is classified as more of a small moon. We've never seen any of this happen first hand so we can say, "This is what it WILL be like." We just can't it would be stupid to. I'm not worried about it. chances are slim to 0 on somthing that big hitting us. lol

I loled so hard at that video. If it was in english, i dont think i could stay in my chair because seeing AND hearing crazy theories is just too much for me.

Anyways, if a meteor hit earth, i wouldnt care, because at least a couple thousand enter our atmosphere everyday, and a few land every day. Now, if we are talking about some oversized ball of doom like that crazy japanese lady was getting off to, we would know about it way ahead of time, and would take steps to stop it.
