I am going to be honest with you thought, looks do count, big time, but once the looks are gone you will probably be left with someone with a horrible attitude and personality.

My type isn't only based on looks.
Luckily I found someone that's exactly my type

id say one's personality counts more than his/her looks but i also wouldn't like a butt-ugly person

More than looks i like the image. Usually, girls i like don't fit in the "hot" standard.

I like personality, yes, and if they can express that personality through their image, then i like them even more.

Personality over looks but no one who is like obese...theres standards but not high on looks. Found a girl now who has both so, im happy.

I'm young and naive, and in all honesty, looks do matter for me. I hate it when people ask questions like "would you rather go out with an ugly girl with a GREAT personality or a dumb, mean chick that's hot as hell?" Things rarely go to such extremes.
For me, personality is a big thing. I love girls with a big heart. Yet, no matter how nice and how tender they might be, if they don't have a certain degree of looks, things could just never work out. I feel like such a jerk saying that, but its just the truth. The most I could imagine doing would be kissing that girl on the cheek and telling her how sweet she is.
On the other hand, if the girls a jerk, then that's a clear no. I've hooked up before with girls that were asses, but it was just a one-time hookup, and never a relationship. In a relationship, personality matters more than looks, but atleast for me, that doesn't mean there could be an absence of looks.

Usually, though, things work out fine for me. Most of the girls I know are real sweethearts, and they're cute too. It's not too often you find a girl that's blazing pretty, and she turns out to be the meanest bitch ever. Like I said, things are rarely in the extremities.

No, it's not. I'm attracted to someone based on the total feeling I get from them---a combination of looks, personality, brains, and some stuff I can't quite put a finger on.

Well... I met once a girl ... that is like perfect from inside ... totally diffrent from all of us ...so nice and kind... when one guy want to talk , everyone tells him to stfu or something , and she says wait , maybe hes got something interesting to say ... and when everyone is laughing at someone , shes just quiet there, shes hot too ... and then I found out she is filthy biach ... people arent the way they seems like ...

To me, I look at you, and I find you attractive. I get to know you, and depending on how your personality is, you become uglier(to the point of me not being in the least attracted to you), or you become even more attractive then when I first saw you.
