Is it possible to feel while we are sleeping?

Well... I had conversation with my Gf last night ... about sex and stuff... she said that when someone's kissing her neck turns her on the most ... (did i say that right? xD)
Last night I dream about she kissing me to my neck ... and I swear i could felt it ... it felt like its real ... I mean .. is that only my brain while thinking that she was kissing me, actually make me feel that? Coz it happens quite alot that I can feel what i am dreaming ...

Your thoughts?

I'm always aware that I'm dreaming when I'm doing it, but I don't see a reason why to try and control the dream, just let everything go its course and see what happens I guess.

Yea you can definitely feel while you dream and your brain usually makes the dream around it, e.g. you dream about going to the bathroom and taking a piss, you're actually pissing in your bed and thats the warm feeling and its time to wake up.

I hope so, if not then you were not asleep.

god i hate fox nows so much

OT: i don't think its lucid dreaming anyway just because you feel something in your dream doesn't mean your in control. I've been woken up by the pain from being stabbed, shot, choked, etc ( i get beat up alot in my dreams). I think the best explanation i can offer you if that your brain is responding to whats going on in your dream by tensing up muscles and tweaking nerves. When it happens to me the sensation normally go away after i wake up. Or it could've been something as simple as a sheet rubbing against your neck the right way and you interpret it as a kiss in your dream. Stuff happens. Better not to find and explanation though and just go with it your lucky enough to have nice dreams like that don't ruin it.

Its simple really, when you think about it.

If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

When your dreaming, your senses might not be receiving these electrical signals, but your brain will still be interpreting them.

So was it real? In a nut shell, it was real.

If it's not, nothing is I guess.

imo, when you start feeling, that is when you wake up. also if you're intrested in lucid dreaming, http://ld4all.com , that's the best one I could find online

I had one dream where I was falling and when I hit the ground I don't think I felt anything.. But I've also had other dreams where I have felt some thing.

But I have had some dreams where I have been crying in my dream and I have woken up crying..

Any time I ever dream something I like, I wake up.

Controlling dreams? Doh. I'd always point them into the same direction. .... LOL.

I've heard that too. Something like '6 spiders a month' for the average person.

Um, I dont know if I even see 6 spiders a month. I see like, one in the bathtub about... once every two months. So if ur eating 6 a month, you should get that thing you plug into your outlets that makes sound humans cant hear, but drives the bugs out of the house.

Yep yep.

Sometime both.... sometims your 'half sleep' and still feel real things.

Dreams sometims feel real but their "toned down" IE, never felt pain in a dream or extreme pleasure either.

I like to dream.
I always got supernatural power when Im dreaming.
I never hesitate to jump off from a tower 100 floors.
When I have conscious that Im dreaming, I turned the world into my heaven because I can make anything happens like my wish -> like "The Matrix"

Think Xemnas is right. I had a dream along time ago about me being suffocated by tall faceless shadowy demons(don't ask I don't know either, I think It was the horror book I read before i went to sleep)suffocating me to death I couldn't move or even scream(that was the worst part)ugh it was terrible. Thought it was actually happening in real life, then i woke up and thank god everything back to normal. I didn't sleep for the rest of the night because I scared.
