virus ?

i was at google searching for pictures undername " pwned / owned "
and then i got into a link , suddenly the page closed i said okay .. but next .. internet explore dont open gives me errors , and so task manager .. gives me this error
" the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000012d). Click on OK to terminate the application .

i cant even take screen shot give me error .. -.- i really got OWNED .
any one know something or some links which can help ?

System restore, Go in safe mode and do a anti-virus scan, Or reformat.

#1 rule, never and i mean NEVER use internet explorer; especially if you're just surfing online

if its malware(ex. spyware, trojans, etc) install comodo antimalware (aka bo clean) from comodo.com and it will get rid of it during your next reboot after installing it

use firefox and turn on your xp firewall and also install systemmechanic http://iolo.com/ and use its popupblocker option

hm sounds like your software has taken quite a blow.

you could get some antivirus programs to clean your pc, then repair the software if needed, but it might be easier, faster and efficienter to just format -> reinstall windows. copy your important files to a seperate HDD or USB stick, burn on a disc whatever. at least you'll be sure the virus is gone. first thing to do once the reinstall is finished: download firefox.
