Have any of you guys recently lost anything of some value to you? Or what was the most important thing you've lost in a while?
Iono , i just want to feel better because i lost my jacket earlier today. Left it at the courts and realized 2 hours later i forgot it. I ran back as fast as i could but to no avail its not there..
It was like a $30 jacket =[

That sucks.
I lost a $200 coat a few years back when I left it on a festival terrain by accident, it fell out of my backpack or something. At the same festival I broke up with my girlfriend and she still had my cigarette box that I got from my father; a really cool and rare thing.

That box kinda meant alot to me. Later she said she didn't have it anymore.

I know. Those comics were like my entire freshman and sophomore year of high school. That's all I learned. They were so epic though.

I can only think of one thing really.
When I was 4 I got this awesome wedding Barbie and I was SO proud of it. It had a very nice dress and those shiney shoes and jewelry and all. I got teased alot because I was the only Chinese girl and I was far behind on the language, so I was sure people would wanna be friends and stop teasing if I had a barbie just like they had. (Logics of a 4 year old rofl)
Every friday we could bring something to school, so I wanted to bring the barbie. My mum warned me not to, but I didn't listen. During the break, all the toys were placed on a table and when I came back from playing outside, my barbie missed her shiney shoes and all the jewelry.
I was really sad, but then one of my friends, Alice, gave me the shoes of her own barbie. I never forgot it, it was so sweet of her.
Worst of all was my Mum saying "I told you so!" when I told her. >>

Bastet, the secret next Jack the Ripper?

n I had an iPod mini right when they first came out. One day I just couldn't find it. I looked around and around in my house, but I never ever found it. It was silver too.

I've lost a few pens that I used forever and loved so dearly. The worst was in 5th grade though. There was a gas leak in my school and one thing that I always take with me is my pens even if they are in my backpack I'll dig them out. So there was this gas leak and we had to go to the kindergarten building that was built away from the rest of the school. I had one of my .5mm lead pens with me that prolly only cost 5 bucks but it was my favorite and I had been using since like 2nd grade. I lost the tip piece that you write with but still have the eraser end. It pissed me off so much that I used Bic's and regular pencils until 8th grade when I bought my current Cross pen. Kinda petty I know...

A $20 wristwatch in 4th grade. Not much, but I'd used it only a couple months, and its quality was far beyond its price. Lost it in the playground after I took it off and put in my pocket.

Is a coat really that valuable to you? Ok, it cost you money, but its easily replaced and i doubt it had much sentimental value.
About 7 years ago i left a £60 black and grey jacket in a serivce station just out of the channel tunnel in france. Didnt really effect me at all, except that i was cold for the rest of the journey home.
It was pretty much like this except it was black and grey. Maybe one of you saw it? lol

Most recent was "losing" my iPod to a determined tire and overweight car. It's not replaced but I was heartbroken and lost for a few days afterwards...
But the worst loss was losing a locket my grandmother gave me for my 6th birthday a few years back. I lost it at the YMCA, so I'm pretty sure some filthy little munchkin has it now.
And to the girls talking about Barbie...My older brother used to cut the hands and feet off my Barbies. And he used to rip the heads off before attempting to flush them down the toilet. I cried over man a lost Barbies in the Mat-nado of the late 80's, early 90's.

The most valuable thing I've even had stolen was some freedom. The culprits were politicians.

i kno, here i'll give you a recent situation.
-this kid was throwing paper across the class and as the teacher came in the kid stopped throwing paper. so the teacher asks who did it and he blames me, i said i didnt do it and the teacher looked at me and said," ...right..." i was so pissed that i went to the kid and literally beat him up. for doing that i got in serious trouble but on top of that i got in trouble for throwing paper. i also hate to bring race into it but im indian , and everyone thinks i was born doing bad things. pisses me off in post 9/11 world
