Dude, just go to a computer place and pick out some nice shit and they will put it together for you. That way you will get what you want, and for cheaper.

Yep, 8600s are junk for the price. At that level you're paying for the technology rather than the performance. Bump up to an 8800, or go with the 8600 and swap out later.

2nd one would do way better than the first. The 8600 is new tech but near the same performance as a 7900XT. Mobo is a good base, but by far if you dont know how to build (self built FTW, IMO)i would get a custom built one where you pick the parts, but get reviews on someone if you did cause they tend to get their prices jacked high.
