Hey, gz on the good reviews. That's on your way to a good start! :)

With that being said, The Great Compromise by Orlando, FL residents Kingsbury can join the pantheon of albums that provide time and space for songs that first kick the listener in the gut and then sit down on the ground beside them to help them figure out what the hell just happened.

That's the best quote from the 2 btw. Just love how they explained that. xD

You took the words right out of my mouth! That's a great quote :) And I listened to a few songs, most sounded the same and the vocals I heard were pretty soft but the music was good.. not bad at all :P Good luck to you and gratz on the reviews.

Wow, nice reviews. My friend and I are thinking of starting up a band right now, but all we have at this point is a keyboard/piano. :(
I'm sure we could get a drummer if we wanted to but we want to play around a bit first and see what we can do with just a keyboard before adding another element into it.

& if you're ever in Dallas, send me a message. It'd be awesome to check you guys out in person.
And amazing cover art, btw.

well, I wouldn't have thought TBS, but, everyone hears things differently I guess. We get a lot of radiohead comparisons, among others.

Well.. There is a way to get money tho.. Cuz you can allways make ppl pay for your concerts.. and maybe trying to expand your CD sales to other countries?

We are actually going to start giving our CDs away for free or small donation soon. Radiohead did it, and although we're not radiohead, we don't make money on CD sales anyways. This way, we'll save money by not having to press CDs, get artwork done, pay for distribution, etc. We'll just offer them all for free via digital download :D

Touring is where bands make money, but to pay for your tours, you NEED money, which is where a good record label comes in. We need a good label to help finance the tour so we can make money selling merch, etc. of course, then ya gotta pay the label back for everything they spent on the tour..but still, it's the best way to make money. HOWEVER, to have a successful tour, people have to know who you are :P

Well, it helps get exposure and it's a lot of fun. It's basically an excuse to play the music you love and travel...get to see the country and meet really interesting people...and get arrested in New York City :banghead:
