Well i'm thinking of buying COD4, played it on friends Xbox and am absolutely in love with it. Since Xbox is so expensive, I was thinking about buying it for the PC. Well Can't decide whether to buy a Xbox 360 regular controller....or a wireless. I've heard that the wireless controller tends to mess up, and doesn't work with some games, does that ahppen with a regular wired controller? (Keep in mind the Xbox 360 controller is for my PC to play COD4...not Xbox system)

I have the wired one for pc and I love it. It works with the 360 too, don't know about wireless. I haven't had a game with a controller option that didn't support it.
Don't understand why someone would use a controller over mouse for an fps but to each his own.

If you're planning to play online, a mouse is a MUST. The game was optimized for it, and it takes into account that players aren't handicapped by trying to aim with a tiny rubber peg. You would get destroyed.

I was a PC gamer, I always thought playing FPS on the computer with a 22" screen, 2 gig ram top of the line mouse and keyboard would be unbeatable, and i couldnt imagine playing with a controller.

But now I got a 60" sony plasma 1080p with surround sound and ps3 and i must say, FPS ON PC SUUCKKKSS

*knowing srf, ill probably be flamed like mad now*

get a better computer. specs on a pc can out do the ps3, and a 22" monitor? get bigger one, you don't need 60" inches when your a few feet away from the monitor anyways.

ROFL!

Actually yes you can you can set sensitivity...

Im sorry i dont spend all day on my computer to spend thousands on my computer, a ps3 is just the same amount as a regular computer, plus you can run linux on it.

And once again yes, the bigger the better.
