i have a question and i would appreciate it so much if ya'll could please answer it for me.
lets say i went to a store lk abercrombie. i walk in, and say i see a t shirt i like. apart from there being some big chunky white thing on it, are there any other securiy things?
in laymans terms has anybody worked at a clothing store before and know the procedure they use when you check out your clothes? do they have any tiny things hidden in the clothes? apart from the clearly visible ones, i mean. things so if you walk out with it they'll know and the alarm will sound?
and realize that i'm only asking for t-shirts, maybe fifteen dollars at most. nothing more than twenty dollars.
and im not stealing. im just wondering what kind of security they have in place at stores lk hollister and junk.

i've never worked retail, but the only security that those stores use is the "big plastic things" and die pacs on the clothing themselves. they also use cameras and plain clothes security. be careful with the die packs though, if they pop, it will be a while before it washes off!

Its either that medium size plastice thingy that goes on one side of the shirt while the other half is on the opposite side, OR their is that inky thing if you break it it'll stain pretty bad

i work at american eagle. there are two types of sensors.
the magnet sensors, these ones consist of two parts. A big top part, and a small pin which snaps to it on the inside of the shirt. All stores have those sensor detectors at the entrance/exit, and if one of the plastic sensors goes near the detectors, it starts to beep like a car alarm.
there is one other type, but its more rare. these are not magnetic at all, and you can walk out of the store with it on. these are for items that are in the front of the store. since they are in the front, they dont want the beeping going off every 5 seconds. these are equiped with two different types of fluid, and if you tamper with it it will explode and your clothing item will get ruined.
plus, MOST retail stores have cameras. and some LP can stare into the fitting rooms like mayc's.
there is two main techniques to take them off without the machine, but I'm not telling.

Yep, since LPs usually post near a changing room and the workers are told to watch when people come in and out. Ive had to put so many of those magnetic sensors and packs on, need a special tool to get them off, however the packs go off your screwed. and dude if you have to ask how to steal don't do it, your not smart enough for it.

Hehehe just dont get caught, and dont get addicted
Me and a friend got addicted to shoplifting -> got caught after a few weeks
luckily we were one year under "myndig" (14) meaning we only got to go to the police station
and talk for awhile with our parents, didn't get anything on the permanent record ^^
Lul and ofcourse the police believed our increadibly dumb story that it was our second time trying it <3
