That's Ireland you're thinking about, mate. Although I've heard Scotland has some pretty wild bagpipe parties as well.
Have fun, Bastet! :]

Heh I'm jealous. I'd like to go to Scotland one day myself, it'd be cool to visit the country where my ancestors lived.

Edinburgh? Glasgow? Scotland is the most beautiful place on earth. I envy you. Plus, Mogwai, Jesus and Marychain, Belle and Sebastian, Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine and a ton of other great bands are from there. And they have beer! And sweaters! OMG...I gotta go to Scotland...

Scotland...aka Great Britain. I actually went through the trouble of looking at a map to find where it was

unused to hearing about GB in separate countries.
Have fun and be safe...you just missed to tell us why youre going there

I'm going to a place called Helmsdale, kinda in the middle of no where, 2 hour drive from Inverness..
Edit: I am going up there to see my brother, I haven't seen him in about 10 months. So I can't wait and I have never been up to scotland before/

Depends on where he is. I dont know anything about him other than the fact that he visits SRF and is scheduled to go to Scotland.
If he lived in America (which he obviously doesnt), flying would save hella more $$ than by anything else.

How the hell did you get 70 RuYi points all at once?
I've been working at it for weeks and all I have are 21.

LOL your right you don't know anything about me.. I'm a she and not a he

I live in England about 500 miles from where I am going. I did have a look at the cost of flights and the cheapest was £45 but still needed to get to London (Gatwick) So I am going by coach, but it will take me about 20+ hours to get to Helmsdale, which is costing me £55.
Going by coach is alot cheaper then getting a flight.

I have a 5 hour stop in London, but 12 hours between London and Inverness and another 2 hours up to Helmsdale.

Oh and thats a coach

Oh well, at least YOUR not driving at least. You can just sleep

Thats the issue with flying anywhere in the UK, the time it takes you to GET to the airport, go through security wait for the plane, takes longer than the flight itself.
I myself lived in North Wales, so it took me about an hour to get to manchester airport, so if I wanted to fly to london, it would take 1 hour driving+2 hours waiting+1hour flying+30 mins fiddling after. Where as I could just drive there in 4 to 4and a half hours.

I think the only thing I'm not looking forward to is the 5 hour wait in London, I will be by myself and my coach doesn't get into London till 11pm. My Dad is worried sick that something is going to happen to me.
