Someone tried to steal my car

So yeah, yesterday morning I was puzzled to see plastic molding pieces in a pile on my passenger seat
Quick to realize my stereo was gone, and my entire steering column was naked
After a miserable morning of dealing with police and making claims, got the car to start again by reconnecting a lot of parts in the steering column but
The interior is damaged so bad you cant put it back together
Everything was ripped out with brute force and broken, so like 2 smaller interior parts and 3 massive interior parts are busted, plus the steering column covers are broken and cant be reassembled.
Not to mention, I dont have a stereo. Its pretty sad sight. The Honda dealer didnt wanna touch it since its an Acura. The only Acura dealer around here is an hour away. Plus its snowing blizzard and whiteout outside. They dont think the insurance (of course) is going to cover my stereo anyway.
Sad sad sad.

Awww Ryoko, sorry to hear that. I would die if I couldn't listen to my music while driving!!! can you use an ipod for the time being??? Years ago, I had my car in the shop to get my front bumper replaced and while it was in the fenced in lot for the repair shop, it got broken into and the fucks stole my cd deck and all my CDs. I was able to get the repair shop to replace the deck, but not the CDs since those are harder to prove stolen

sorry bro been there done that theres plenty of suggestions but yea it sucks its happened to my Honda Prelude R.I.P. Your best bet would be when you save up again get a VIPER alarm system with pressure sensitive spots placed all over the car so if some1 so much as leans on it, it will sound like a fire alarm going off right outside your window. Common knowledge thiefs dont like noise but as for not you could go to any junkyard and rig up about any model within the same generation acura/honda stereo to fit in your car. Millions of little street racer wannabe's wreck and destroy Integras and Civics on the daily so good luck bro if you need any other suggestions pm me i have tons

Sorry to hear that.
Such a shame having to live in a world where people consider themself so great that they think it's okay to steal things from people who worked hard to earn it.
Hope they can fix it somehow though, or that it'll be solved in a different way.

Would you believe me if I tell you my car is opened by force at least once a week since I moved into our new place?
First we had a S10 and a Peugeot 206, only one car could go into the garage so the S10 was parked outside, my father sold it because he doesn't want to pay a huge monthly fee for a parking place or whatever they are called, they really rip you off there.
So now we have the Peugeot (which was half mine and half my sisters) and a Volkswagen Gol that's now completely mine but my father is using it while he doesn't have his own. Problem is there is going to be three cars instead of two now and it's going to give a few problems =/

Ouch thats bad, sorry. Dunno how i'd feel if that happened to me, I was bad enough when i found someone had snapped my wing mirror off.

if they had gotten your car, you could have at least gotten insurance money for that. i just checked ebay and they have some cheap stereos on there. i just saw in dash dvd/tv combos for like 24 bucks. they also have a couple of other auctions ending soon for under $10 for mp3 capable decks...might be worth checking out. good luck dealing with the cops. i am not their biggest fan.

I go to ebay and buy a replacement right... get it installed, and my own CD is already in it when I turn it on

Well I dunno that is debatable. See this incident is costing me money (already 1.5 days lost at work, money for esimates, and a deductable to boot) as opposed to being cut a check for estimated value of the car and applying that to a down payment on a nice new acura

You have a garage or something? I would wince if it was left out in the open-and since Acura makes a lot of sporty looking cars, might have been appealing to whoever broke into it.
The cops must suck. No fingerprints, no nothing?

But hey, If you need a new car radio, I just found one today.. Some moron just left his car windows open to be broken...
I pity the poor biatch who has to do without a car radio now...

My dad never leaves his stereo in his car these days he has a little case for it to put it in when he takes it out of his car.
People will steal anything these days...

Same happened to my family a few years back (7 years), the credit card in the car glove box was stolen. We didn't even realize anything had been taken until the credit card company called and said we had been on a spending spree. Only then did we notice the dent in the door where they jacked it open. Police did fingerprinting, but that never comes to anything.
Then again a coupe years ago. Came home from school, the front door had been jacked open, loads of little valuble things gone, sentimental stuff jewlery, once again, police spent 3 hours fingerprinting (after taking 4 hours to turn up, in which they told us not to go into the house), once again, came to nothing. Guess theres no time for things like this for the cops anymore

well my mom had a vw golf gti once, had this fake alarm (blinking LED lol) on it, and was
parked at a private parking lot, at my moms work. when we wanted to drive back home, we noticed
the key didnt fit any more. found out the door was unlocked; someone bashed the lock with a
screwdriver. they bashed the contact as well, so we couldnt drive home -.- bastards.
i really cant imagine people doing that.. i mean.. respect the car ffs.

at first i was is this stallowned then i thought nah
if it was stallowned the title will be someone tried to steal my car so i bashed his face in the ground 
wow must suck they didnt steal it but left it a mess ouch
i remember a time i was at the public libary and someone stole a car from the parking lot seems ppl will steal from anywhere
kinda sucks too cause the mom told the son to watch the car and he didn't i bet that kid got punished and a ass whooping
