hey there peeps, i was wondering. i want a laptop and i might ask for it for my b-day or try n save some money once i get a job. How much would a decent one cost for SRO and other games, i wana powerlvl my own char but i only really got 1 comp atm , naturally it would be used for other things too but yea.......How much?

$1,600-1,800 is probably the basic all-purpose laptop.

SRO really isn't too system-intensive. On sale, I'm sure you could easily get a decent one that could run other programs as well for under 500$.
Keep in mind that most of the times, with the same amount of money, you can buy a better PC than a laptop. The main advantage of a laptop is its portability. If you don't intend on carrying it around with you (such as to school or to work), I really would buy a PC. I spent more than 1000$ on the new laptop I just bought in the summer, and looking back, I really regret it. I barely take it around (except on the occasional long car drives or plane flights), and with 1000$, I could've easily gotten a nice PC that could've run the latest games. Instead, with the video card that my current laptop has, I can't even run CS: Condition Zero.

Consider the ups and downs of buying ANY laptop before you buy it. And know that it's alot easier to build a PC yourself (which saves quite a bit of money) than to build a laptop yourself. :d

yea, but i highly doubt i have the room to fit in a second pc anywhere, we do have 3 and a laptop, but the other 2 pcs belog ot my sister and my mom/dad and thier allways occipied, and the laptop cant run sro -_-

The shittiest of modern laptops can run SRO.
