I've never thought what my favorite tree is, but if I had to pick any it would have to be the Willow Tree.

I think that's just some generic tree. They just cut off all the branches and leaves to they look nice and ugly

Sakura during spring, Ficus (didnt know they were called ficus 
) cause they're spooky,
and bamboo cause its serene to be surrounded by them.

I love how the cherry trees look when they bloom. Used to live 10m from a really big white cherry tree.
I also like how those vine trees that bloom with cotton-like puffs look. It's amazing to watch them when they bloom, it's like huge snow flakes in the middle of spring...EDIT:guess it's a Willow Tree. Climbed and swung from their branches when I was young.

Also love watching the edible chestnuts trees in bloom. They grow long strands covered in yellow-green moss, it's amazing. Had one on the other side of my building...it was pretty big too, 3 floors high.

And the best fighting scene in DOA is in Bamboo..

Banzai trees are pretty awesome.
Pine trees are good too, winter wouldn't look right without a ton of snow covered pine trees.
