There's always been the theory of the meteor striking the Earth and creating a huge dust cloud blocking out the sun etc., which stopped photosynthesis for awhile. Now, I, for one, have been sort of worrying about this possibility (silly of me, I know) because it's rather scary that such a dominant life form could be wiped out by one freak event. Now that we're that dominant life form, what's going to stop it from happening to us?
However, this new article (http://www.time.com/time/health/article ... 01,00.html) seems to suggest that insects were the ones responsible for killing the dinosaurs. That being said, have we escaped the scourge of the dinosaurs with pills for malaria and other bug-related diseases? Discuss.

Well at least Dinosaurs had a good 146 million to 150 million years in which they ruled
the earth...all we have had so far is 3 million years and if things keep going this way
were likely to kill ourselves.

BUT what people don't realize is that the meteor hitting the earth is not the worst
disaster ever faced by our planet, while the meteor killed off 60% of all life the
breaking up of Pangea (supercontinent) destroyed 98% of all life...just be thankful
that some of our evolutionary ancestors survived

At least the world will be much better off if humans just all died and the whole world will be like it was before us..

All animals will be free, all plant growth is back, the Green House effect wil prolly get lower (even though it'll still take some milions of years)

And Humans may all die..

And I will be there to witness as I will survive..

Electricity man, Energy guy, Apotecary, Driver, Pilot, Computer guy, Chef, Cigaret maker, Lighter maker, Gas guy, Cable guy, people I actually need but never know...

First person I would kill out of those is the cigarette maker. Smoking is bad for you. If I said it, it must be true, ask the dinosaurs.
