yeah you need a lot of specs, thats one reason why I don't like it. and there arent enough firefights. All you do is walk 10 miles until you get shot in the head by some uber high ranking player

I used to play...hit the "jail" a lot for teamkilling though. :P

go for TC:E instead. More realistic than any other free game out there and more firefights than AA and you need less specs too (since they run an older engine) don't be discouraged though. The graphics, map details, and authenticity is very nice.

the only problem about TCE is that you need to be a decent player to kill someone. There are some very good players out there. and another problem is downloading. Theres some tricky stuff in downloading, was a bitch for me :banghead:

Are you kidding? America's Army ran on my old 2.1GHz Athlon XP/Radeon 9600XT. Then again, I haven't played it lately. I quit it when they made me sit down and take a virtual test on virtual paper to become a virtual medic.

You didn't like that but you like that other game because it's more realistic?

And AA doesn't require anything to run, it needed a good computer when it came out... 6 Farking years ago.

when I say I didn't like AA, I don't mean it completely sucks balls. There are parts that I like and dislike but overall I dislike AA. the game is us military propoganda and they put the medic stuff in it to try and simulate what its like becoming a medic in the US army and I thought it was interesting, thats all. shit dude, no reason for you to come and confront me about it

hah i used to play that game years
highest account was 86 honor and i used to be in a team called knights of the round table (link: http://aaotracker.com/clanprofile.php?clanid=21599 )
when i was a member we played european intermediate level in teamwarfare league (http://www.teamwarfare.com) and cal league.
it was fun till the developers destroyed the game with all their patches. the game has gone worse after each patch

The game sucks, I have met the developers, I am current active Army and trust me, the game is far off from simulations. I can make you a better simulation with a paintball gun and a cam corder. :banghead:

Its a completely different game on the PC. The PC version doesn't have a single player mode.

As for AA. I used to play it A LOT. Played in TWL/HTGN, was even lucky enough to have two of our matches spectated, commentated on and broadcast on EGLN.

It does need a decent computer, but a LOT of optimization was done between 2.7 and 2.8.1 and it now runs a hell of a lot better.

When you first start, you will die. A LOT. You just have to stick with it =]

Good luck soldier.

HOOAH.

xD The overtime was from our Bridge SE match against them, which ended 6-6. Somehow we both managed to win 3 rounds on assault xD

Jabs was in Pure Entity before he moved out and made the KNIGHTS guild which eventually joined our union, so I know all about KNIGHTS :P

Yeah i'm playing BF2 together with silkroad atm.. i'm a sergeant atm oO
the big + if you compare BF2 with AA is that BF2 has respawn.. AA has not (realism -.-)
