To Embarresd to Say lol
World Of Warcraft
Yes i was so Farking bored outta my mind i decided since my Real life mate tried Silkroad (he used to play WoW) thought i might try World of warcraft.
i must admit i was tottaly surpised when i played this i mean some players (2) were really helpful when i was trying it out which really helped me play this and when i go from college this afternoon for those who have my xfire expect to the see message [Time]<Vandango> Is Now Playing World of Warcraft. this game has some kind of pull on me i really liked the experince. now when i got the character creation screen had many different things to choose form Expect for 1 choice either being the horde or a alliaince (Spelling) so Wanting to be human i choose the alliance and became a mage , would of prefered to be an archer but i couldnt find it. ok had all the setting i wanted put in my name and i was off into the Relam.
From what i heard form the other people the GFX Sucks but i dont really think this is an issue with this game. heck it maybe like over 6 years old but it still looked pretty good in high detail , cartoonish maybe but it was ok. i dont know why everyone says it sucks but hey once i cranked it up to max detail it looked pretty good so for all those people who havent played WoW and says the GFX Sucks Please go download like a trial and i did and change your mind FAST!.
ok so wondering around in this world killing random shit i found a quest and decided to do it. i got lost on the way but that was a god thing i gained EXP in the mean time and evetully i was lvl 2 (yay!!).
by the time i had finshed kill the 10 kobad vermin quest i went back got the reward. next quest was kill 10 kobad workers by the time i had killed 10 (i had to kill 12) i had a strnage feeling , I was having fun

. I know after 2 years of meanless grinding in SRO i was having fun in another MMORPG game. tbh im really close to quite seroiusly playing this since im stalling and making money in SRO , i could goto GAME Store i pass everyday and buy a supscription.
in the summary of World of Warcraft i really like it , i think the quest system is awsome i can grind like i do in SRO and the best thing is i still got towns to find , things to explore , skills and to learn and even PVP.

My thought has been going to the same.. Playing wow.. I'm at work now and we use HTTP tunnel and I went on a friends his WOW account and started to play..
too be really honest it was fun. But I can't stand it to play alone this game with no guidence at all. Thats the problem I got.
Thats why I never try wow in big.. If I would I needed to get atleast 5 friends or something with me and all go together.
But I doubt it
anyway gl in wow mate!

That exactly what happened to me. I hit 64 on my hybrid INT spear in SRO, and seriously was bored outta my mind with the cave etc.
I walked past and free record shop, and impulse bought wow. been playing it ever since.
Btw, the archer = a hunter = Night elf/draenei/dwarf

The best thing about WoW and Lineage...(the P2P games in general) is the smooth gameplay. The developers know what they were doing when they made it. That's probably it's best quality as a game, sure the graphics are in a weird style... and it's a little too much fantasy for some of us, but the PvP, questing, mounts, skills, everything.... is well worked out. If you don't like WoW's visuals try Lineage 2, same fun, with a little more realistic look, and as we saw in that horribly pornographic thread, the chicks look way better! The two are really common in terms of playing styles, though.

I hated wow, I bought 6 months (seperately over 2 years) and never liked it. I only started liking it when BC came out because friends in real life started playing it - it makes a difference when you play with people.

Yes this is fun only the first few months, and levels... after that its the same old farming/grinding system

thats why I quit... you have to grind rep for that faction for another grind honor and grind money for your epic mount ahhh its realy boring I hate it.
I move to Dungeons And Dragons now and I`m happy with it

Grind honour? By grind honour do you mean PVP over and over for equip? lawls, that's far from grinding. The rep stuff can get tedious, but it's not infinite. Epic mounts are cheap - everyone I know had enough cash for it at 60. End game is two sided, either you PVP BGs/Arenas or you do massive raids; or a combination of both. End game wow is far from being a farm/grind game.

By grinding honour, yes I mean that. And I mean in the same time with that the Arena team match system... its not honor but Arena Points. Its far from mindless and hard grinding but its grinding
The repotation grinding bores me and was mine major problem about the "grinding system"
Epic mounts cheap !? HELL NO !
1. level 40 - 9g mount 85g skill
2. level 60 - 90g mount 600g skill
3. level 70 - 100g mount 800g skill
4. level 70 epic mount - 200g mount and 5000g skill
now make the mats... 6884g if I`m right

This is not small amount of money in World Of Warcraft, when you need to respec for the engame if you want to be realy succseseble in both PvP and PvE, this is 50g everytime.
And I was in one PvE raiding guild, raiding 1 instance for 2 mounts every weekend nonstop.

if this aint grinding than what is ? It is grinding becous you know the low rate chance to drop some cool item, but hell ! we was 25 mans and the items is like 3-4 epics

then we need to grind it....
This game isnt hard if you play everyday for minimum 3-4 hours.... and you can succses if you play 4+ h/7 ... But I doesnt have such a time to spend on a game that I pay mounthly fees
Thats why most of the low-willed ppl get "addicted" to WoW...
---
And the main thing in wow is gear, only the gear makes you good in both PvP and PvE... and this is very stupid
The main reason I like DDO is that, you dont get any XP from killin mosters, only doing (very very fun and exiting) quests. And that you can create your own character by the way you like to... you can combain 3 dif classes and etc. And the gear isnt the 90% of your "skill" maybe takes only 20-30%...
I will not talk about the grapchics... wow is so cartoonish.. the only race I like was the Undead and still they are cartoonish as well
DDO dosent have the BEST grapchics but sure have good ones that i prefer then the WoW ones... and DDO have awesome physics
EDIT: I forget to say - this is only my opinion, like it or not you wont change it

and dont be angry or mad if you dont.

You're full of poo, or haven't played wow for more then a day.
Epic mounts were only hard to get when the cap was 60, and even then, i allready had 600G at 60 with both my professions rediculously low. Plus the prices you stated for the mounts are horribly outdated, and much lower now.
2 or three epics per boss is sufficient, i bet you're one of those people wo just want every epic flying to him on every boss. Being full epic within an hour. GL with that.
I play 1h a day, this varies sometimes, and i'm fairly succesfull, you don't need to play 3-4 hours.
and your " You're only good with gear in pvp and pve " comment in hilarious. You're confused with SRO, badly. In wow you can kill full epic guys, by just being better then them. Plus with the wellfair pvp epics these days, the problem has totally gone away.
srsly, bad mouthing wow in an unfair way to promote DDO. lulz.

Yeah tbh, as much of a SRO fan-boy I am. I would actually play WoW.
Played it before on the trial, got too like 18 on a Druid? And 17 on an Orc?. Was good, but as a few peopel allreayd said it isn't like SRO where you can solo till 80. You really do need company in WoW.

I can make 100g a day in an hour just doing dailies easily.
I've got my epic flyer, an extra 3.5k gold and a friend owes me 1.5k gold (so it's more like 5k gold).
Raiding: I've completed 7 raid instances in BC, almost finished with the 8th. The raid fights are fun and varied, no one who's done Kael'thas would say that's a boring fight (just phase 1

). Illidan is freaking epic.
You'd get rocked if you think you can PvP in PvE gear btw.
Arena matches can be pretty fun (as long as the queues are long as hell)
WoW isn't about the graphics, it's about the gameplay.

wow isn't enjoyable unless you play with friends, but that goes for a lot of things - atleast that's how I felt until my friends played.

Yup I fell for the trial too
After level 10, when my little hunter (I know they're overpopulated..,) got his pet and I moved to darkshore, the game really got interesting and fun.
I played on the private server for 2 days, but the bugs.. the bugs!
I gave up SRO months ago, just the money thats keeping me from WoW- I can afford it, but I still think it's overpriced :S
If I play WoW for 1 year it would cost me about €150,-
Thats the price of a new tft screen o_O

I spent $620ish in one year of SRO. I've spent around $150 for one year of WoW. I've been capped in wow for 7 months. I never hit cap in sro (for more than a day that is)

You're really driving me to the edge of buying WoW XD
I'm almost convinced to stop caring about the price and just get the starters pack + a 2 month game card for €35,-
For my first 3 months of play that wouldn't be a bad price <.< hmm...
