Reading the pain topic, i was wondering. All those painful experience are not especially dangroue, well not all...

So have u ever though u were going to die? When u had an accident or something?

Once when playing rugby my neck turned and made a weird noise like "KRRRRKRRR" and i really thought i'd never walk again...but i can :>

I dont think i've ever seen death in eyes...

I thought i was when i fell asleep once o_O

I did when i got in a pretty bad car accident, my friend ran into a tree.
I broke my leg and was in a coma for 6 days =(
Then i had therapy, so i could walk better.
And my friend broke her arm and her ankle i think.
Really didnt know what happened, so i couldnt say i felt like i was gonna die, i was in a coma...

I had a headache once when I was 8

When I used to skate, I was on a half pipe and it was pretty big, so I was going pretty fast, so I ollied (jumped) and I kinda screwed it up I dont know how, too early I think but I flew backwards somehow and fell on my back, and you know when you get shot on cs or an fps? you see red, thats what happened, and I had trouble breathing in for a while and I couldnt see after that, i got up and was alright..

i was drowning in a pool once and i really thought i wasn't going to make it....then i grabbed onto this fat chick and she managed to tug to me the side so i could climb out...

After my appendicitis operation i was so weak and couldnt even open my eyes... I thought i was like paralyzed ._.

I've been really sick with cold/flu before where you just want to pass out and throw up all the time. I also got ko'd for a few seconds while playing football, no pain. Besides that nothing bad.

i was going to sleep one time, and my chest hurt like hell, near the heart, and i thought i was gonna die of a heart attack, in my sleep =.=

and i like got pneumonia when i was, uh, 8, and i thought i was gonna die. i spent 2 weeks in the hospital

when i completely went out of control of anger i felt like i was gonna die

Y'know teeter totters? And you know when your jerk ass friend jumps off when you're up in the air so you plummet to your death? Yeah, a time like that.

We were horsing around and my friend Jeremy decided it'd be funny to let me plummet back to Earth, only when I fell, I fell off the teeter totter and onto my back, had the wind knocked out of me. I could've sworn I was going to die because I couldn't breathe.

Yeah like when you have falling dreams. I heard that if you hit the ground in your falling dreams you die, because you have a heart attack.

STuff like this doesn't make sense. How can anyone prove that? Cause if they've been through it, they'll be dead...so they can't exactly tell anyone.

The worst it's ever been for me happened not too long ago.

I woke up, after dreaming that I was drowning and then I could look around but couldn't move or breathe.. couldn't talk or make any noise. I finally kinda snapped out of it, but it was pretty scary. =S

...Really? You guys all thought you were going to die in a dream? Every time I get close to a super dangerous situation in a dream, I realize I am dreaming and I take control, turn around and go super sayan on threat at hand.(usually being chased by something/one). If all of a sudden I see a rocket flying towards me in real life, I would probably first pinch myself, then think if it's an actual dream or not, then try to go super sayan, and if that doesn't work, sit there and wonder why my dream powers aren't working.

If you have time to fear for your life in a life threatening situation, might as well use it to think of a way to get out of it, right?

Judging by your reactions to the dreams you mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised if in an actual life threatening situation you just stand there and yell for a half hour waiting for your hair to grow 5 feet, turn blond, and have your muscles bulge outta your clothes.

its called sleep paralysis

your body is under paralysis when u sleep so you dont act out your dream.... and sometimes you can wake up suddenly before the paralysis wears off...

no jokes that happens to me some times like i will say 1 every 7
months or so in the morning i feel awake and i can hear and i try to get up and i cant its like i feel like a rock but looking at that video it says how to do it um... i don't know how it just happens lol but yea its weird your body feel stiff ill either stay awake in that state for like 30 min or so then wake up normal or go back to sleep or try to move like i said before u feel like a rock s its hard to move yourself but since it happens to me once in a while i don't feel like im dieing but yea its a weird feeling
i thought i was the only person who has experince this and i didn't even know there was a name to it thanks draquish its really hard snapping out if it even if i always do


about dieing i felt when i had asthma attacks it sucked coudlnt breath
to good and u feel weak and out of air its not a good feeling

off topic i hate those dreams that seem so real and in your mind its all real to you and when u wake up u find out its all a dream -__-

i never thought i was gonna die but from time to time while my eyes are closed (trying to sleep), i go into a mode (w/e u wanna call it) where i cannot move any part of my body but i kno im awake (like if i have the tv on and i can hear it), it creeps me out but after about 30 secs of "fighting" it and trying to raise my arm i get out of it, kinda wierd <.<...maybe not kinda but a lot.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was talking about. I get it when I wake up though, and can't breathe. It's weird.
