Silkroad Online Forums

Oh boy. I went to sleep feeling kinda ranty, and I woke up in a rantastic mood. Also, it's been awhile since I've posted, and I feel like subjecting you fine folks to one of my rants. Deal.
(One more little note, I'm not sure where the most appropriate place to post this is, so if a Mod catches this and decides it'd be best elsewhere, go on and do yer thang gurrrl/boi.)

I've got a few questions...

A) How many of you reading have downloaded -> installed -> played -> enjoyed, Perfect World?
B) Of those reading, how many of you *still* play Perfect World and would/do recommend it to your friends who play SilkRoad?
C) Last one, promise. How many of you who enjoy and support Perfect World, fight server traffic to log-in to SilkRoad *just* to bitch and moan about it, and then go on and on, and on, and on about how perfect Perfect World is?

Hmk. If you answered "yes" to all three questions, do yourself a favor. Uninstall SilkRoad and GTFO. Plz. With a big fat, juicy cherry on top. I mean it, with every fibre of my being. Lulz, what a lie. But really, knock it off.

I'm glad you found a game you can enjoy. Really, I am. I am so glad. But why don't you try being glad too? Quit subjecting yourself to the torture and abuse that is Silkroad, and go be merry with your Werebutts and Elfers. Move on, get over it. And no, I will not take my own advice. I don't possess that gene. Har harr.

Also, you pricks switching servers. Same goes for you. Quit coming back to the server you fled from. Please. I get it, your new server is great. You've got a great guild, new friends, fun things to do. An amazing build that rocks the socks off of every hot chicka you come across. I GET IT. We all get it. Stop trying to spoil a game *some* of us still enjoy.(Joymax is doing a fine job themselves.) Ok, tiny lie there. I enjoy aspects of the game.

One? The people. I've met some great people in this game. Friendships I hope will last for a very long time, because that person is just that fun. I'm sure you have too. So why not focus on that, instead of the robots and gold thieves? Really. If you've ever had a night where you spend most of the time giggling and trying to catch your breath because the people you surround yourself with crack you up that much, and you honestly thought about that instead of the destructobots and penny-snatchers, you'd bitch and moan less. I'd quit growling and snarling at my monitor because some of you people are *that* ridiculous. Do yourself, and myself a favor. Quit yer bitchin' and cowboy up.

I answered the first two yes, But i enjoyed both games, So il continue with that it mind. Guess u didnt enjoy PW, oh well it's not for everyone i guess.

Perfect world is a good game, but overal it falls short of sro, if sro sorted th ebot issues out and added a few more races and character edits it'd own perfect world. HEck, just fix the bot issue and it does

The switching between the two. PW is the game I've been seeing pop up in chat in-game for the past three weeks, so I used it as an example.

And I'm not saying piss on the people who do enjoy Perfect World. I'm happy that you've found another game you can enjoy, really. What bugs me is the people coming back to SRO just to diss it because it doesn't fit their standards like Perfect World might. =\ <shrug>

I told everyone before that PW isnt that good. lol Fly and I tried it when China had its open beta cause everyone thought it was the next "it" game. But we thought it suked. The graphics are worse than WOW, polygons so big you can park a semi on them. The char creation was the most fun I had in that game. I could make chars there for hours... But the game play? booooring and hard to look at.

You obviously had the graphics on low Nightbloom. PW's aim is not to be realistic but it's a socializing game. If you are looking for a realistic game then it's not PW. PW is fun nonetheless realistic or not. It definitly beats SRO miserably.

I don't see why he is mad about PW on the forums? it's call Off Topic Lounge and we mostly keep PW discussion to one thread. So I don't get what tobe mad about. If you don't like PW then just avoid "Perfect World Official Thread" and you will be alright. Alright hun?

My topic was moved from General Discussion, to here, because a Mod deemed it a more appropriate place.

And I do avoid that thread. My rant is focused towards the people who actively jump on SilkRoad to rave about PW.
