Chiptunes, anyone?

Just wondering if I'm the only one into chip music, not many kids nowadays know what it is nor have ever listened to that kind of tunes, they said chiptunes golden age was 20 years ago but with the technology we have now, man it's almost as good as the old days

Isn't this music called 'bitpop' >.>
I listen to it occasionally, have a few cd's of 8bitbetty, and I every now and then listen to some myspace pages with 8bit music on it. Some are really sweet.
8bit tunes are awesome
EDIT: ahh chiptunes is a synonymous for 8bit or bitpop
