Well, i've re-installed Windows as i had loads of viruses and crap etc.
However, when i moved everything onto the external hardrive that i wanted to keep. I wiped everything off my computer, the whole hardrive and random partitions, what i didn't realise is that the external hardrive was still plugged in at the time.

So now i've got nothing to put back on here, all my music, homework, favourites, DRIVERS are all deleted.

I'm confused, how did it erase what was on your external drive if you only formatted your internal drive???
