IMO, it looks awesome(from what I've seen), and seems to be a worthy competitor to Guitar Hero.

I heard the instruments break easily. I'd wait till they release a newer version.

My friend's getting it for Christmas hopefully. Until then, dominating Guitar Hero is my goal. I dont sing BTW lol.

It is pretty expensive, and from what I hear not all the instruments are in sync with the beat of the songs...

Need to hear an opinion from someone who has it, then we shall know.

i'd see how it would be really fun if you got one person for each role, and just jam out

I bought it, it is amazingly fun (If you have people playing with you) The instruments are sturdy and work well. It's definitely worth the money if you like these types of games. This game lets you do alot more then guitar hero 3, because during certain parts of the music, each instrument gets their own "solo" time, where they can play or sing whatever they want, and at the end of some songs you have to do a big rock ending, which is where if you are drums or guitar you have to play as many notes as humanly possible to get a few extra points at the end, things like this make it alot more interactive and make you feel like your actually creating the song, and not just playing along to it. If a certain instrument doesn't do their job, their fragment of the song doesn't show up, so it's really awesome.

As for the in sync with the games comment, each instrument can be tuned to be in sync with its specific player.
