Who is your FAVORITE drummer?

Notice I said, FAVORITE. I don't want to argue who is better or whatever. That's lame. And this can be from all genres. Personally, I'm more of a metal fan when it comes to drumming, but I respect all drummers, even though I'm a bass player! lol

My favorite? Hellhammer

Bun E. Carlos. He had the overworked accountant look down cold!

And nobody drums like an overworked accountant, baby!

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot Irwin: http://www.irwinmusic.com/

If you like live electronica, watch some of the clips. You'll have a hard time believing its just one guy. Irwin is the musician that musicians listen to. A genius and a very cool dude.

danny carey, tool. the man has such a zen approach to drumming that it's actually scary. watching him play is hypnotic. he looks so relaxed, even while playing things that i would need an extra pair of arms to execute cleanly.

I saw trym play in place of Frost for Satyricon in Orlando. Frost wasn't allowed to come to the US on that tour hahahaha. Heck yeah, they're both pretty sick!
