Meh I guess .. all tho I obviously can't say for sure .. is that her generation ( shes what? 25+ ? ) never got schooled well enough in Geography.

Damn... OK, i might not be able to name all the capital citys but i atleast know all the major countries in the world.
American films dont help with geography outside of america. So many films seem to have something really bad happening in america (and nowhere else) and if america is gonna get destroyed by it (or something similar to that) they claim it to be "the end of the world", as if america is the only place in the world...
Person 1 "by #insert time/date here# it would have taken over all of america!"
Person 2 "Its the end of the world!"

Im HOPING none of the americans on this forum are as dumb as her.

I only got 4 years of geography in school. In the first 3 our teacher wasnt really all there, we basically studied kenya for 3 years... It was so good i can tell you anything about kenya... wait, no i cant, it was crap, we learnt nothing.
And the 4th year we did bugger all and just gossiped with the teacher about other teachers (he didnt like them and he was leaving at the end of the year anywho). So i never really got taught about other countries but i somehow know about them. Not sure where from though, probably just tv and the news.

Well I could of said quite alot of shit bout American schooling .... but Theres alot of Patriotic yanks in here that would nuke me.
