Do you think George W. Bush is a leader?

Do you think he is? If so explain if not then describe what a true leader is like.
I say no, George W. Bush is not a leader. He is weak minded and blindsighted. I cannot understand how someone born rich can be expected to lead a nation of people with different backgrounds. You can't be a leader unless you can relate and understand the people. And sadly George W. Bush cannot relate or understand.

george is aight, but hes not what i would call a typical leader. also most "leaders" tend to be distant from the people behind closed doors >.>. i give george 1 thing though, he is very persistant... when he believes something he follows thru 100% without any FEAR. the man aint a coward thats for sure.
so ideal[ the ideal is plausable to a certain extent] leader, HELL NO!
leader, as in is George W. capable of running a country when put in the right circumstance, HELL YES!
i may not like some of his actions, but im not gonna go around looking at all the negetivity without thinking about the other possibilities, and assuming every leader should be "ideal" which, has only been noted in 1 american president [george washington]

Yeah, and he's still more educated, richer, popular, and powerful than you'll ever be.
Take the same events and put any president in office and they'll have huge disapproval rates. It's possible he's an idiot, but it's impossible that the sum of everyone in his government are just as bad. You can't call him a bad president for what has happened because the decision process is not solely his.

george washington cared about the
NATION itself, and
NOT the individuals it consisted of. he also was the only "non-partison" president we ever had. another thing, in a time of great turmoil when any1 could've taken advantage of the situation and become "king" he [george washington] was not ambitious enough to carry out such a grandois plan, nor did he desire to acuire such power. also america was an "experiment" with nothing to back it up, no past data. george washington and all early leaders basically had no models to follow. a country with a strong "national gov't and strong states with checks and balences" was UNHEARD OF. the AOC's left the nation in turmoil on th ebrink of disaster, and as i stated earlier GW, unlike other known leaders, chose not to take advantage of said turmoil.
take for example FDR the man ran 4 times, and won each time if hed'nt died he might still be in office today [hypothecal]. FDR was that popular and he obviously knew how to get what he wants [pearl harbor = entry in ww2 directly!]. the man was ambitous and if not stopped by "father time" would possibly be Pres 4 Life.
now george W bush, refer to my first statment!

I guess your right. He did have many troubles during the early days...Economic problems and problems with the British, but he was determined and always stood his ground, tried to overcome the hardest of troubles for the new nation. Also I forget what the term is (a country to remain neutral) but he basically urged The United states to steer clear of permanent alliances and remain neutral. And yes he was the only "non-partison" president.
But....
I still don't think he was the ideal president and I'm not sure if we've had one.

so your saying we shouldn't choose a some1 who does understand the people and their needs....but just get the rich spoiled one who has everything served to him on a silver platter. No I don't think so. Have you heard what Laura Bush, the First Lady has said about the ppl living in the airport when hurricane Katrina struck. She said something along the line of these words: These people are living better than they did back at home.
Can you believe her nerve. She obviously doesn't understand us. So she is saying that they have it good at the hot, stuffy airport with dead and sick ppl who are dying and she says they have it good. Now something is wrong with. So I take it ur saying we need more leaders like those ppl. so we need more Bushes and Lauras, is that what ur saying. We need some1 that has risen out of the dirt and knows what's going on and how to give the ppl what they need.
Wait I take that back what we need are more Roosevelts, and Ale Gores, and Abraham Lincons, and Fredrick Douglasses.

Have u actually seen the documentary on Hurricane Katrina. It was on HBO and I have the DVD right in my house. And by what I remember they did not have it good in the airport. so stop trying to tell ppl you know what it feels bc you don't. You are not black so u don't know what we have to go through and just how badly ppl generalize us. And you where not one of the victims of Katrina, and don't tell me I'm wrong bc when I was living in Texas i spoke to alot of Katrina vitcims and they where miserable.
