anyone seen the film? Its a good film but i never read the book so i didnt know what to expect and the ending is just crazy. Heres an explanation from wiki. Quote it to see what it says

Driving through the mist, David returns home to find his wife has fallen victim to the spider-like creatures. Heartbroken, he drives the group south until running out of gas without finding any other survivors. Surrendering to their fate, the group silently agrees that there is no point in going further. With four bullets left in the gun and five people in the car, David shoots Amanda, Dan, Irene, and his son, Billy, to save them from death at the hands of the creatures. Wailing, he futilely attempts to shoot himself with the now-empty gun before exiting the vehicle to let the mist take him. After a few moments, however, a military tank drives by in the same direction, followed by a large squadron of soldiers clearing away the mist and several trucks full of survivors, including the mother whom nobody from the store would escort. Overtaken with grief, David falls to his knees screaming as a pair of soldiers look at him in confusion. He had been driving away from help the entire time.

do i have a warped mine because all i could think was "owned" and laugh? lol.

i read the short novella and the ending was pretty much the survivors drove out into the mist not knowing what there fate was going to be. The previews made it sound like the movie ending was going to be alot more dramatic "With an ending you'll never see coming!!!!111!!" so were you entertained?

I understand it fine.

Yeah, those church rants were getting pretty annoying.
I kept thinking of my history when we were talking about the Hellfire Preachers way back when during the Great Enlightenment or whatever.
I laughed.
Was nice to see King's political and religious jokes though.

Favorite one was:
"Put more than two people in a room and pretty soon they'll be thinking of ways to kill each other. Like politics...or religion."

And for some reason I could not correctly write politics.

I have a question though.

What was the moral of the movie?
I mean, 1408 had a moral and some good literary metaphors, but this was just like...scary monsters, die, the end.
