How was your black friday experience?

Mines started on Thursday. 5 am thursday morning I waited for Circuit City's website to go up and ordered a samsung 245bw 24" monitor. Then later that night I lined up for CompUSA's 9 pm - 12 am sale at 7:30 and was already 100th in line. I didn't think I was going to get my 24" monitor but there were 2 left by the time I got in.

Lined up at OfficeMax at 3 am on Friday. I was 2nd there so I decided to wait in my car until more people got there. I got back out at 4 am when 7 more people came. By the time Officemax opened at 7, there were about 100 people in line, maybe more. I got another 24" monitor and 2 sets of logitech lx715.

By the time I got out it was about 8 so I stopped by bestbuy and got myself Half life 2 orange box and guild wars prophecies.

This is all going on ebay of course except orange box. (team fortress 2 is surprisingly fun)

i stayed home, then went over to my freinds house watched a movie played games and drank some tequilla, way better day then any one's day who would actually subject themselves to go shopping on that day, I don't understand why some people do it, too many people being too stupid, bad traffic, just seams like a recipe for accidents to happen, plus having to wait for so damn long in a line, not worth it.

It's worth it when you need to buy a new TV or something expensive, and don't mind waiting a couple months for big sales. I don't mind wasting a day in line and saving $800 - that's enough to build a new computer, well worth putting up with fucktards for a day.

It's not worth it if all you're paying are a couple games or DVDs.
