Fail for gaming.

RAZER

optical-infared
2 handed: razer diamondback 3g
right handed: razer deathadder

laser
2 handed: razer copperhead
right handed: microsoft habu

Although the lachesis looks to be great, but i've never tried it.

As for logitech, i've only owned the mx510 and mx518, they're great mice if you're looking for a right handed mouse. The G5 is a great SOLID choice, and the G7 is like a recycled G5 with new graphics. The G9 got great reviews as well, but it's ugly as hell.

You have to check if you're a palmer or a gripper - if you use low sens and swoop or high sense and flick - and then you'll be able to decide if you need infared/optical or laser. After deciding that, you need to decide if you like a round 2 handed mouse like a copperhead, or something made for right handed people like a G5.

Mice are like suits - when you're buying expensive ones there aren't some that are better than others, just some that fit you better.

Logitech MX500. Cheap and is exactly like their newer mouses minus all the extra crap like weights and fancy paint, and the $80+ price tag.

Personally i love the Logi Mx518. Fits my big hand well. Plus the Bullet hole skin looks cool

Edit: i just found out that there isnt a scroll well button it switches from the scroll with the bumps to the hyper scroll.

Same here....I see no diff, just a bit more fancyer lookin.

Theres a big difference, like I allways have multiple tabs/windows open and on the revolution i can switch programs so fast and not have to press Alt+Tab or click in the start bar

After my MX500 went to mouse heaven (well, at least it was all used up and the left button was bugged) I got myself a MX518 now ... awesome mouse, but like dom said, only for righthanders, since its ergonomy is to put your thumb on the left side...

Never regret any MX5xx so far... but if you're not into FPS much, a usual optical mouse will do ... I also prefer ones with cords, I hate having my accu go off while being in a match...
