How much did you buy your computer for?

I bought my computer at Best Buy. The PC and the moniter were about like $700 and then + the Geek Squad service for 3 years and something about the warranty rounded off 2 about another 200 dollars so it cost me about $900 but it's a very good computer that just came out. They also gave me a free printer to go along with it. Oh yea u can't forget tax...so that's about $950 for the whole thing? Anyway what about you all?

I return my computer to the store every 6 months and get a new one...

originaly i spent about £900 (if i remember rightly) on building it ($1800ish) but ive spent £400+ ($800ish) upgrading it so far. Im gonna be spending another £100-£200+ on upgrades soon.

store policy is 6 months on returns.. I return it and get a new one

you should regret buying it from pc world more. lol, even my friend who works in pc world suggests not to buy from there.

Build mine when i was 13 so its 4 years old now. But runs Crysis on medium and COD4 on medium High. But paid around 600 for it all together

built my desktop for about 650 usd, at the time 800-900 canadian. I also bought a laptop last december for 999.99 and another one last april for 1,499.99

Hmm in dollars, then 1000 (the one im goign to buy, not teh one i have right now, which i cant remember) $500 CPU + $500 monitor, I alredy got a keyboard and mouse, and i will need some speakers, wich are about.. $50?
that would be some more than $3150

And thats why I love the fact that my relatives give me money i pounds and I can convert.
