nope scientists say now that it's not a planet and some still argue and say it's a dwarf planet but I dunno.

"IT" was considered a planet before.. but I think the scientists agreed that "IT" doesn't meet the requirements to be considered a planet.. or something like that.

A planet is any body bigger than 2,000km in diameter, whose primary gravitational influence is the Sun.

A planet is any body bigger than 2,000km in diameter, whose local system orbits the Sun, and who is not the satellite of another planet.

This I believe is the criteria used to judge that Pluto is not a planet and now labeled as a dwarf planet.

I was taught as a kid that it's a planet, so in my mind it always will be.

There was a conference over somewhere back in August of 06, and announce that Pluto was not a planet but a Dwarf Planet. Sucks for the Americans though cuz we sent a rocket to Pluto in like April and now its not even a planet

I'm not sure if it's pluto or not, but one of the planet is actually not... its made from gases which you can't "touch" for example.

No, it's a floating rock in outer space which course is altered by the sun and planets.. It's like a moon flying on its own

Pluto is a dwarf planet. I guess it is thought that we have 50 of them maximum in our solar system.

And yes, there are other planets outside our solar system, the so called exoplanets. We (the human beings) allready discovered over 220 of them, if I'm right.

But I think there are soooo much of them. Over 49356billion I guess, lolz.

basicly there are the 4 solid/molten core planets

Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars

this is followed by the gas giants

Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn

and Quyxz is right...our system has lots and lots of dwarf planets.
