Do you really have to be 18?

I've had an account for a while now and never knew until someone told me, is this true? (Didn't read user agreement XD)

Do you ever really have to abide to the age limits on the internet?

Im not sure about this but I think you have to be, because otherwise you prolly can't link your bank account to the paypal account without your parents permission.

And under 18 you can't get a credit card too.
