1st Annual Silkroad Online Forums Game of the Year Awards

Welcome to the 1st SRF GOTY awards, this is to see what SRF users think or
feel is the game of the year for SRF.
Each of these follow games have been chosen on the basis of reviews, play
time and overall quality and brilliance compared to other games.

The poll will be open for 10 days in which users can post their votes and
sway others with why a certain game is head and shoulders above the others
keep in mind that the games are posted in no order.

Also if the game you like doesn't win, then you only have yourself to blame
for not posting/voting


1= Crysis (PC)

Crysis is a Sci-Fi FPS game for the PC in which mankind must struggle to survive in the face of an alien invasion.

2= The Orange Box (PC/360)

The Orange Box includes the original Half Life 2, Episodes One and Two, Team Fortress 2, and an additional single-player game called Portal.

3= Super Mario Galaxy (WII)

Super Mario Galaxy finds Mario taking his adventures to new heights as he soars through space from planet to planet in search of stars.

4= Halo 3 (360)

Bungie's popular first-person shooter makes its debut on the Xbox 360 with Halo 3.

5= Assassin's Creed (PS3/360)

The first game in the Assassin's Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart.

6= Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar (PC)

This expansion for Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords adds new opponents, the ability to create custom opponents, new units and a new campaign, while greatly expanding the gameplay of Galactic Civilizations II.

12=Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (360)

The venerable Call of Duty series leaves its familiar WWII battlefields behind to tackle warfare in a modern setting.

ok Why put the platform...COD4 is on PC. Better on PC too, and COD4 game play is actually identical on all the platforms, excluding mobile.

how is COD4 better on PC it runs amazingly well on the 360 the graphics look great online play is great what could be better...

I voted UT3 even though i've never played it just because Reise has me whipped.

assasins creed, im so gonna get that game when it comes out for pc, (and when i actually have a computer that can take the graffics )

Voted CoD4, probably the only game ive played on the list (tried Bioshock but got bored).

ASSASSIN'S CREED NAO

Orange Box.

Great single player with HL2 and episodes.

Great multiplayer with TF2

And Portal is just addicting, very innovative and original.

And all this for a relatively small price.

where is CIV IV: BTS >.<... meh i'll go with galatic civs cause its similar...

I'd go with Bioshock... i like the retro-futuristic look and it reminds me of old Fallout days

I'm surprised people know about UT3 even though it has like zero hype or advertising. Imagine how it would be if it was hyped, ratings up the wizzo.

Halo 3 best story line ever ..IMO

Cod4, simply for the MP gameplay.

bioshock and cod4 are on the pc too...
