i got a nvidia 6600gt. geting a error message about the temparatue, n how not enouph power is goin to the card. i had this problem b4, but took off the sides, and it was fine.
anyone else had this prob, or know how to fix.
cant play sro

one problem might be that your computer is getting too hot. get some better cooling parts.

Plug in a power cable to the slot on the end of the 6600. Problem solved.

you're probaly routing a half-voltage molex into the card, try doing a full-voltage molex in the back, even though the half are designed for the video cards and extra cpu or chasis fans. Because if the card didn't have a molex in the back it wouldn't even start, it would just make a series of beeping noises.

cool it down !! take the side of a put a fan facing into it thats what i used to do on my old crappy rig "!!!!(not to close tho )

could be you unplugged the pci-express power modulator.
Else post the error message, and if you're getting artifacts (which is a result of the temperature) then you need to cool it down..
Could be the cooler of your graphics card isn't attached on (good enough) anymore.
If that's the problem, don't try to fix it, RMA it!
