resolution 1024*768,everything MAX except shadows and i only lag in Donwhang and Hotan(in Hotan i sometimes get "????" because of lag)

1440x900 ... bloom / circle shadow / View/Char Distance 3 .. rest all On or Full.

No lag what so ever.

Oh yeah and I only have 1024 mb RAM and a shitty Geforce FX 5700.

Radeon X550, 1024 MB.

Resolution 1024*768, everything on high and no lag.
Only when it's REALLY busy in Hotan I might get slightly laggy.

Usually got my settings on normal because I'm always multitasking.

ATI Mobility Radeon 1gb.
2 GB DDR
1440x900.. highest quality.. takes 2 to 4 seconds to load in hotan..

i think i fell in love with it..

1600x1200, all high, shadow circle

On rare occasions I lag a bit in Hotan; generally no lag issues caused by graphics.

My computer is weird, I used to lag often in Hotan with the low quality settings, but one day I switched to high and the lag stopped

heh same, playing warrock on low resolution and low gfx i have only 30-50 fps O_o

but playing on max resolution and gfx i have 70-110 fps ...

mine is a geforce somewhere in the 2000 series (you laugh, you die!!!)
i don't know exactly which one it is and im to lazy to search. im going to ask for a new one for x-mas

as for lag...i have things on low so i don't lag when it's on high i lag but it doen't really bother me. one thing is strange thoguh. sometimes i only lag when i look at specific side. so when i look left it lags when i look right it doen't.

SRO played at 1680x1050, every setting is at max. On very rare occasions i get some lag in Hotan.

-Bought this PC lately and noticed that Silkroad's draw distance sux. I wish it had even less graphic details but higher drawing distance.

According to windows vista, i'm a 4.9. (not bad for 600 USD, at the time it was built)

I don't play SRO anymore, but when I did I had a bad computer and never lagged. I believe, since SRO is a horrible game and incredibly old, that even computers that are now outdated should not have a problem running it on high quality. The problems would arise from the client itself, in poor coding, or even from connectivity.

When I played I had everything set to high, but out of game, in my ATI/Nvidia panels, I had set everything to performance. What this means is that I probably overrided a lot of the issues (like shadows) that are slowing people down.

I have an AMD FX-62 processor with 2gigs of Corsair Xtreme Ram and a EVGA Nvidia 8800 GTX video card

I have everything set to max, except I still have to turn shadows off for it to run perfect! :roll:

I'm upgrading to 4 gigs of ram. I think that might arrive from Newegg.com today

I dont mind ugly graphics..I loved WolfET for instance...its more about the gameplay for me..I can play with higher graphics but my pc would die then in town xD

all set to high except bloom effect, but i sometimes turn them on when i take screenshots cause there are some places that looks good with bloom effect. when grinding i turn on shadows and turn it off when i go back to town (Hotan).

Hotan on crowded---idk but its lesss than a sec, it just like flash the loading and it's ready and I have RoadRunner (cable net) and it doesnt lag

very close to what i have, only i have 256 graphics. still only gets laggy in hotan sometimes.
