No... when you wake up, it's an hour earlier then it's supposed to be. So if you normally wake up at 7 AM, you would now wake up at 6AM. >.>

IMO, daylight saving is a waste of time, we got it like 2 weeks ago and it's one more hour so everything I watch on cable is like 1 hour behind and I don't remember that so I miss my favorite shows =(

It's funny when you have watches that don't synchronize themselves and you have 2 (or even more) different times in your household XD

Well it is pretty useless, but theoretically you can "sleep an hour longer"..

Although it is proven that the lag phase for your inner clock to work completely correct again is enormous (more than a month).

well, atleast the clock on my heating thingymabob is correct again now.

What's the fuss about?
I can sleep 1hour more as usual.
BTW The wintertime, is correcter as the summer time (DST iirc) if you check the sun.

Situation in Belgium.
A long time ago people did something with our clocks resulting in a different hour vs the sun. This is the current wintertime.
Later they added summertime, because some weird reason resulting to even more being different from the sun.

Example with hours.

Let's say the suntime is 14.00 (2hours after it's peak)
In the winter your clock says 15.00
In the summer your clock says 16.00

Thus wintertime FTW.
BTW this is by heart. I need to check some things to see if I'm correct.

DST is over.
Thus i can sleep more.
3 o clock became 2o clock, leading to a 25hour day and I choose to sleep in that extra hour.

About the sun thing in my previous post.
Belgium should be GMT+0, but we use GMT+1, just as some other European countries thanks to the Germans iirc.

Anyway.
Wintertime = suntime if you're country uses the correct time zone.
Summertime = false time
