cin
heh. i skied for about 7 years, then got bored of it n started boarding.
i board since about 3 years now and beginning to get good at it.
board: rossignol sultan | 164cm long
rest: no idea.
my brother has a k2 board with burton shoes n bindings.. a friend of his is
a professional extreme snowboarder, so he can get my brother some good
stuff for cheaps
boarding is alot more fun than skiing imo. jumping is fun too, landing isnt.

i have the run of the mill stuff u get from those sales. so total equip w/ board and bindings = $400~
i started boarding 2003 i think, so 4 years. but i've only started seriously boarding last year, i mean going more than once or twice a season. it's loads of fun. i tried skiing before that, but i got owned going down the bunny slope, and didn't feel like embarrassing myself ne further.
it helps living so close to the mts. can't wait for slopes to open.
i'd have to agree w/ cin jumping ftw, landing not so much.

i ski...have for about 22 years, i raced slalom, moguls and freestyle. i was ski patrol for a few years and an instructor in new york and colorado. i havent upgraded my equip in over 10 years since i live in florida now, but i still ride my old boards whenever i have the chance!!!
favs- K2 4's (208's) marker m-54 titanium bindings (one of the first titanium they made) nordica heated boots. i got these christmas of '95.
K2 4's were the first hourglass all mountain ski that K2 made. they have a chip in them (that lites up when in use right above the binding...cool) that determines the terrain (powder, packed, or ice) and stiffens rods in the ski accordingly.
the ones i barely ride are from '94. they are limited edition K2 Big Bertha's (200's). they were the limited edition grateful dead skis designed by jerry garcia. they've got marker m-22 bindings on them. i doubt i will ever ride them again, but i can never give them up since he wont be designing anything else ever again!!
