Anyway today, I went down to Memphis, TN to attend the Freedom Awards. It was one of the most inspiring programs I've ever attended. I just loved it so much, I even found that when they started playing Gospel Music( Not a fan of gospel music) I was up there clapping with them. I couldn't beleive that I was in the same room with 3 of the most greatest people in the world. Magic Johnson was there, Dr. John Hope Franklin( author of From Slavery to Freedom, one of my all time favorite books.), and President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the President of Liberia, Keke Palmer was there too. She was the Mistress of Ceremonies. It was just wonderfull, I mean this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm so glad I went to this awarding ceremony even though I'm gonna have a crap load of school work when I get back to Nashville. It was just so inspiring, and empowering, my only regret was that i wasn't the one of the ones on the stage, that where going to be awarded for there outstanding acheivements.
