The other day i was making fun of a guy i know over xfire for playing WoW, then he told me it was on a private server, so I had to inquire, and alot of people here have said they'd like to try it but dont' want to pay for it, so here you go


PRIVATE SERVERS ARE FREE TO PLAY ON, and the downloads are free too

Step 1. Installing the main game
Either Use the game disks if you can borrow, or buy it will save you many hours of download

or

get the client there

Step 2. Installing the expansion pack( Burning Crusade )
Again either the disks will save lots of downloading
or

you'll download the us ones the all 5 parts, after they are downloaded, extract them all to the same folder and run the installer there, this will install burning crusade

Step 3. Patching and updates

There is a patch you'll need to install, i din't know if you can get this off disks or whatever and there may be a better site to get it from but I know this one works

so after you have that downloaded and installed, run the game to get the launcher, but dont' hit start yet, goto options and change it to update after game ends, then you can go back and start the game, then close it, the game will now update

Step 4. almost there, now you need the private server laucnher

Step 5. now the game can play on the servers, but you need to register for them

on this website you'll have to register for the forum, then register for the server you want to play on, they run 3 servers
wowscape pscyho fast rates
wowlegion normal
wowcrack accellerated but not absurd rates

and damn download limit there is like so much stuff I would like to download <_< but I always get a damn bill at the end of the month cause of excessive download/upload

wowscape is back up, their website was down for a bit today, its there now


ya there is a bit to download but you know what, I hate to admit but WoW is alot funner the silk, so far, the only thing i wish it had was trade runs, sigh but hey ctf and other stuff, not having to go pure grinding, the quests are helpful and even then you have choice about what you are killing, most of your grinding is just getting to where you go to do your quests, or clearing the area

but if you know some one that has the disks, all you have to do is get patch and the private server launcher, you might not even have to get the patch if the disks are new enough

oh and the servers have alot of people on them, the only thing thats annoying me is the fact that the chat is filled full of spam in the looking for group messages every one is just trying to sell stuff,

i have a question. woud this be fun without playing the real WoW first. cuz i know that runescape private servers woulda been like WTF if i hadnt played real version first... yes i know runescape suxx blah blah

If you wanna play wow goto http://www.hswow.net It's a good private server.

http://mmorpg4free.com/ is in my opinion the best WoW private server there is.

and plus they show real stats not faked ones.

Sorry but if im going to play a private server because i dont wanna pay, then Linage II will be its name
