Study Motivation

This is just a simple question, what do you use as motivation to study?

I have finished my final year of school, and i have my final exams coming up *formally known as the HSC*. I have been studying a bit, 3 hours a day at most for the past month or so, but i need some more motivation and inspiration to study. SO, what do you people use?

I have been going off sheer willpower, but thats run out, so i need something else lol

Any advice or help would be great appreciated.

I always find a way to procrastinate studying, but when i do study i do it with a pen and paper. But i can't help you much here... do you have any important plans? Maybe that can motivate you more, if not look at above post lol.

haha, im a little too smart to be a garbage worker lol, even if i didnt study.

My plans have slowly faded, my dreams of going to uni have faded, which was my previous motivation. Now i don't know why i am even bothering.

Think about how shitty it was when you wished you could go back in time at some point in your life to re-do something and couldn't, now you can prevent that.

Yeah same here sometimes, but then i find another ridiculous excuse not to study (i.e. i can always play lotto). >.>

I have to write my project. It's due tomorrow and I haven't wrote a word. I procrastinated by spending $200 on ordering a keyboard and mouse, then spending 4 hours on reading reviews.

I guess writing about this is just delaying the project even more. I need to grab my laptop and go downstairs in isolation, but I need both monitors :(

I practically procrastinate on every single assignment I get but still somehow manage to still pull good grades. I should be studying for the PSATs which are next week but I'm procrastinating, no surprise, I dunno I study so I can get into a good university, and because getting a 5.0 would look pretty neat.

Did that at my high school. Public education's a joke so it was relatively easy. Not so easy now. I spend about three hours every day studying in the library. I'm also taking the PSAT soon.

Same, although I usually try to pay attention during lectures so it shouldn't be too bad. My instructor is a Nazi about proper form and notation though.

Are you in high school? If so, that's exactly what I'm talking about as far as public education goes. What a waste of time.

On the subject of academics, environmental studies and business sucks. I`m so sick and tired about learning that polar bears are going extinct, and that there are beetles in the trees in BC.

I ordered a tarantula and deathadder today. I need optical because I don't use a mousepad...my diamondback can't track on my wooden matte black desk. My old school mx510 is dying, the LED keeps turning on and off, and the optics can't track.

i havnt had any tests for over 3 years. Im doing a computing course which is mostly about software engineering (some hardware and networking stuff chucked in aswell) and its hard to make tests on programming.

Its much easier to create assignments that are similar to whats going to happen in the real world. Someone is going to want something, they give you a spec, you make it. Ok, its more complicated than that but anywho it just cant be done in an hour or two examination. Plus, one of the best things about programming is re-using code. If you've done something similar before you can just copy, paste and modfiy code as needed. You cant really do stuff like that in an exam.
