omfg, i'm going for 3 months to school now, SUmmer Vacation seems ages ago

School thes year is the worst. So we shoudl have started a month ago, the 15th of September is our official first day at school. But at the time teachers were on strike, they wanted higher sallaries. Theyve been on strike since then. One month has passed and were still not at school.
If we dont go tomorrow and teachers are still on trike, they might anull our school year, which, I believe you undertsand why, cant be more farked up. Yet if we go to school tomorrow, there will be many tests and exams to pass, and they will either cut our, new year, winter, spring and summer vacations or we wont learn as much as we needed to, yet weve got final exams to pass at the end of the year.

Ive always thought of teachers as inteligent people, I might hate most of them but I have my respect for them.
Now they want 100% sallary increase, ministers, sindicates, anyone explains to them that that would either mean firing 30% of the teachers or no sallary increases for anyone else, higher taxes and stuff, but they continue to protest. So dumb, imo...

I graduated year 12 a few weeks ago. I have my hsc starting on the 19th, ending on the 30th and thats it. Sux to be you

I never really hated school. Sure it was boring at times, but friends make up for that. And a good eduction will compensate any possible boredom with ease.
Don't hate school, be grateful you can go to one. Others are less fortunate as you and they'd give the world to switch places.

One of the wiser words that I've heard in my entire time here on SRF.
While you may think of school as a right, because in most countries, the government forces you to go to school, most people fail to realize that it is actually a privilege - a privilege that so many people in the undeveloped parts of the world would kill you to have, to escape out of the poverty of their own personal future.
I never said that I loved school. But I'm certainly grateful that I even have the opportunity to go, and make something of myself.

I'm not bitter. I'm letting him know the truth. It may have come off that way but I dont want to see him get picked on. No one should deserve that. I meant good luck in a literal way. I hope he gets through it.
