Since it's close to Halloween, I would like to raise the subject of Horror, seeing as Horror is most suited for this day. I for one enjoy Halloween. My question to you guys is What makes a horror movie/story good in your eyes? What do you like or dislike in horror films or tales? Is horror all about the Gore and blood, or should it have a good plot and strong solid characters, twists and turns? And yes this is an English project I have to get done the day after halloween. I for one dislike too much gore, its the unsuppected twist and turns, very good plot, dark alleys, stuff thats believeable but you force to not and things jumping outta nowhere that scares the shit outtta me. There are probaly more reason but I will not list them. The Hills have eyes, SAW, Hostel, Tourista, Texas Massacure, Resident Evil most of the so called Horror movies to present date in my view I would consider action movies. That is all I had to say for now will add on more if I do think of anything later. So basically I have to present to the class something that is consider horror in writing, powerpoint, movie form (as in making something myself, can't just rip it off the web), or pictures of stuff one would find scary.

P.S. my views are different from what you might have so do not flame if you have different views.

Thewhite person dies after. Then after theres aout 3 people left. 2 whir 1 black. The white guy decides to be a hero and leaves alone. Hes never seen agin.

ugh, that film freaked me out, i was young, but that is the one film which actually gave me nightmares for quite a long time.

most horror films are terrible these days, films like Hostel, its just like watching people get tortured for a whole film, terrible storylines.
