like the other topic, but with square enix brought brought or was given silkroad to be run, maintined, and future updateds were all constructed by them would it be better? [square the make of final fantasy... such online games ass final fantasy 11

] think of the games story and quests..how much better they'd be.

what do you think?

They don't have a very succesful mmo thats lasted. A better company would be blizzard. IF they had silkroad they would make it just as good as wow did.

blizzard's customer service is amazing. people get hacked in WoW and they can track down who hacked them, get the items back, and ban the hackers.

This game wud be hella like final fantasy now..
a role play.. have to do more quests find a party lol
travel too much..

it would be so awsome i reckon, quests that have interaction, a STORY LINE for the game if you wished to play it, maybe some cool cinimatics and new emo char to choose from

i belive we would get more fantasy stuff added in...lol

oh yea, smart idea. everytime u enter a new area of the map, there'll be a 50 min cutscene plus some inane dialogue, great.

Bout the only cool thing possible would be if they gave bladers a watered down version of omnislash.

it helps that blizzard has previous experience dealing wit large groups of players online, and the fact that almost all their games have been successful and are still being played (bw, tft, lod)

with success comes a great deal of professionalism too, somethin which JM is lacking in.

Their even better then I expected.

Ya I forgot my pw from my acc from a year ago. So I phoned them and get the pw reset in about 10 minutes. But Blizzard doesn't have a perfect game like Chrono Cross. Even if it's not an mmo it's still one of the best RPG ever.

What kind of risiculous topics are these? "What if *insert any rescpectable gaming company* bought SilkRoad"?

First of all, they wouldn't.
Second, even if they did it, they would have to change the whole game system in order to make it pleasant to play, therefore making this a completely different game. So you wouldn't really be playing Silkroad... either "world of silkrad" or "final silkroad"

And third - what decent company like Square or Blizz would involve themselves in botting and making money by scamming customers??
(yes, JoyMax does it)

Kefka > Sephiroth

Anyway Square works more on the fantasy RPG basis, so I guess they wouldn't have much experience in handling one game that is reality based. However, they make a good job on their games (the only flaw possibly is Dirge of Cerberus) and I'm sure they would handle it quite nicely.
