I'd advice people with average computers to not signup. Later nvidia 7*** models and similar ati's should be able to play it.
I get about 30fps, medium settings, with my 8800GTS.
I'll be honest and say the multiplayer is nothing special, but you'll be able to see how crysis may run on your pc.

Downloading. Specs: Geforce 7950gt 512mb, Athlon X2 5200+ 2.4 dual core, 2gb DDR2 ram. Should be interesting to see how the new CryEngine runs.

. Havnt played it in a while now though. Hardly anyone is really testing now i dont think, all the bugs have probaby been reported hundreds of times each. You cant really compare the beta performance to the final thing though, If you wanna know how the final thing will run youll have to wait for the demo.

Because I don't want to destroy it, duh. It's 580 from the original 500. If you want to make an investment in your pc and take a retarded risk like that it's your agenda.

It's not retarded if you have adequate cooling ie. case fans, and know how to monitor temps while testing for stability using programs such as aquamark to see if there are crashes, white marks, etc. And the 8800s go up to at least 640 (stock HSF with gpu) if you do everything the right way. Even if you do go over the limit of your GPU , it won't fry. Usually your PC will tell you that it is getting too hot (if you're not monitoring temps) by crashing, freezing, BSOD, etc. Then you can just underclock it back to a safe frequency. But what do I know...
